PIERRE DE GRENOBLE
PIERRE DE GRENOBLE
BARCLAY 920.429-1973 - FR

Pierre de Grenoble record cover One of the best French folk record. Virtually this is the first Malicorne LP.
Well played and produced by some experienced elements already with Alan Stivell , Dan ar Braas (guitar player) and others, they know very well how to shake traditional folk with a new sound sometimes electric. The voice of Marie is great and her housband Gabriel Yacoub plays good guitars with some electric touches giving us, sometimes, flashes of psychedelic folk .
This good record is easy to find and its value is less than 50 US Dollars.
There are two editions around: the first has the classic custard label, the second has a black label.
Recommended to the folk rock fans.
