GURNEMANZ
NO RAYS OF NOISE
PRIVATE PRESS F 666037-19??- GE

Gurnemanz record cover This is a little gem of German folk rock. There is no date neither on the cover or in the insert, so it's difficult to say when it was pressed (maybe late 70's or first 80's) anyway this is a beautiful record.
The songs are sung in English by the wonderful Manuela 's voice, excepted two tracks sung in German and there is a great version of John Barleycorn a classic folk song performed by the Traffic as all the world knows.
In effect in this LP there is a lot folk music, sometimes with a light touch of rock.
It exists in two editions: the first is a private press, the second with Songbird label, so be careful if you want to buy it. This album is a beautiful surprise from Germany, not to avoid.
