DAYDE'
J'AIME
RIVIERA 521160-1971 - FR

Daydè record cover Joel Daydè already good singer in the French group of the late 60's 'Zoo' , made this masterpiece in 1971: rock between progressive and heavy blues, with the great guitar solos of Claude Engel . Joel 's voice, not unlike the Roger Chapman one of Family makes this record unique, a sort of ' Sam Gopal meets John The Revelator '. Listen to the track Cocaine , 8:30 minutes that are worth all the album which is easy to find at about 50 US Dollars. This is a rare example of a very great record, (like Obsolete of Dashiell Hedayat or Mr.Bojangles of J.J.Walker ) which is not expensive.
